Thoughts on working with/through limitations

Are you struggling to stay consistent and/or regularly bumping into hindrances for your health- or fitness related goals?

There's lots of modifications you can do to your regular routine to adapt to the limitations you might experience. Whether it’s time restriction (busy life/family), or pain/injury related.
Listen to your body, explore different options and seek help/advice if you’re unsure of the best path forward.
Any type of physical activity (no matter how restricted) will be better than none.

The message here is to not be afraid to try to move, however limited or time restricted you might be.
To try to find good methods of staying consistent and to not blindly accept a sedentary lifestyle because we cant seem to find the time, or our injury/disease is limiting us.

I’ve had to experiment and deal with this a lot for myself. I have a quite bad case of arthritis and have been severly limited in extended periods of time over the years.
When this all started out for me it felt like a curse, although with time and some shifts in perspective it can be seen as a blessing.
It's like a physical manifestation of what happens if I don't do what I know I ought to do. (or what we all should, really).
Eat well, sleep well, move, don't be too sedentary, stay consistent.

It's like a preview of how frail and damaged a body could get from a life without physical activity.
Like a daily reminder to do the work.

In addition to that, if it weren't for "my condition",
I wouldn't have stumbled upon what is now, 10 years later, my passion, and work.
